Which Stone is Right for You?
Natural Stone
For any natural stone we recommend you come see our stone slabs, since each batch of slabs can vary. If we don’t have something you like here in stock, our suppliers have hundreds of other options to choose from!
Granite
Granite countertops are a popular choice for homeowners due to their durability and timeless beauty. Made from natural granite, a type of igneous rock formed deep within the Earth's crust, these countertops are known for their distinctive patterns and color variations. Granite itself is composed mainly of quartz, feldspar, and mica, which give it its characteristic hardness and resistance to heat and scratching. This natural process creates unique combinations of minerals and speckled patterns that make each granite countertop truly one-of-a-kind.
Marble
Marble countertops are a timeless and luxurious choice for any kitchen or bathroom. Made from natural stone, marble countertops are crafted from metamorphosed limestone, resulting in a stunningly elegant surface. With its distinctive veining and rich range of colors, marble offers a unique and sophisticated appearance. The composition of marble includes minerals such as calcite and dolomite.
Quartzite
Quartzite countertops are a highly sought-after choice for homeowners, architects, and designers alike. Renowned for their exquisite beauty and exceptional durability, quartzite countertops lend an air of timeless elegance to any kitchen or bathroom. These countertops are primarily composed of natural quartzite, a metamorphic rock formed by the recrystallization of sandstone under immense heat and pressure. This is the most scratch-resistant stone we carry due to its natural hardness.
Soapstone
Soapstone is a natural stone that is is made from a steatite stone, a naturally occurring stone that includes dolomite, magnesite, and chlorite. It is naturally an extremely non-porous material meaning that is does not absorb any form of liquid. With its smooth surface and velvety feel, soapstone countertops add a touch of luxury to any space while requiring minimal maintenance.
Engineered Stone
Quartz
Quartz is an engineered stone that is both man-made and natural. The utilization of advanced engineering processes allows for the creation of slabs with a consistent appearance, mimicking the elegance of natural stone. Quartz is a popular option due to its ease of maintenance. Quartz countertops are available in a wide array of colors and designs, ensuring a perfect match for any kitchen aesthetic.
